Paperwork! This last week of the semester (after your final is complete) is a good time to clean out your sped paperwork! For students that are no longer in your class, please shred any paperwork that you have printed and delete any IEP files you may have saved to your computer. If you do not have a shredder, feel free to send your paperwork to room 112. Note: The paperwork in the cloud will self-destruct at the end of the school year. (How convenient!) As we look ahead toward Spring...How do you organize your paperwork to make sure your students are receiving their required accommodations and modifications? Do you keep a binder? Do you use a spreadsheet? Do you have a great way to organize your mods/accoms? If you do and would like to share with other teachers, please email it here so we can share with the rest of campus in a future post! Thank you for a Great semester!!!Finals week is coming! As you are preparing and editing your final exams for next week, please keep in mind the suggestions that were shared in last week's post. Will your exam include fill in the blank questions? A great way to promote student success is to include a word bank. You can also chunk those questions into smaller sections to meet students' needs. Are you you still a little unsure about modifying or accommodating your final? Would you like some support when you're working on accommodating and modifying your final? If the answer to either or both of those questions is yes, please see below. We hope to see you Thursday!!
If you are unable to attend Thursday after school, but you would still like support or have questions about your final, PLEASE contact a special education staff member for support! |
